The Heart Gallery is a photographic event used to raise awareness about the need for permanent homes for children and youth. The first Heart Gallery was created in 2001. Heart Gallery has grown since that very successful first exhibit, and now takes place in over 45 states in the U.S.A and Heart Galleries are featured in more than 70 cities nationwide. Each project is created uniquely to meet the needs of the community.
In keeping with the adage “a picture is worth a thousand words”, heart gallery photographers make a difference in the lives of our children by presenting children in need of adoption in a unique format through expressive professional portraits. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with premier photographers throughout the County of San Diego who have volunteered their time to take pictures of children waiting for adoptive homes.
